DICOM is the international standard to communicate and manage medical images and data. Its mission is to ensure the interoperability of systems used to produce, store, share, display, send, query, process, retrieve and print medical images, as well as to manage related workflows.
Dicom connection is available in Zoncare iMAC ECG machines. So how does Dicom work in iMAC Series ECG Machines?
When people go to the hospital or examination center for an ECG exam. After they checking in, patient information will be uploaded to hospital's PACS system. Through wifi or LAN, the iMAC ECG machine can be connected to the hospital's PACs system, and download the patient information directly from PACS, no need to pass an additional workstation. In this way, clinicians can give the exam without the information inputting process.
After exams, iMAC ECG Machines can automatically or manually upload reports to hospital's PACS system. And doctors can download the reports to their smart devices from PACS directly, and be able to access the reports anytime.
By using DICOM, Zoncare iMAC series ECG machines can seamlessly connect to the hospital's PACS system.
DICOM makes the patient list synchronization and the ECG reports transmission faster and more convenient.
